Inconsiderate excessive on street parking in Station Road.
Reported in the Car parking category by A Phillips at 15:59, Mon 20 April 2009
Sent to Herefordshire Council less than a minute later
This road is the last with free non-restricted parking as you enter Hereford from the West; it attracts numerous drivers to park for the duration of the day; no room for local residents. Cars are parked with no consideration for residents, other road users or pedestrians. Vehicles are parked on the corner of the junction on both sides, meaning pedestrians unable to use the drop kerbs, forcing them into main road and puddles. Entering Station Road from Barton Road is dangerous, as no visibility of oncoming traffic. If such traffic is encountered you must reverse into Main Road. Residents often blocked in their driveways or unable to access their driveways. Street needs to be residents only parking. New housing development will only make matters worse.
No response from council, despite message saying that a reply would be received within five days!

I pedal down this street from the Sainsbury's direction and agree with you that the parking is ridiculous and messy and blocks the pavements and people's property. As stated the new houses (which have no parking spaces) will only make this problem even worse! I hope you get the problem sorted soon.
