Overgrown trees and bushes along Bletchingdon Road

Reported via desktop in the Report a tree problem category anonymously at 17:05, Mon 15 January 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council 1 minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5447104.

Along verge on Bletchingdon Road heading in direction of Weston village trees and bushes are overgrown and going into the road, making it difficult for vehicles to pass along without scratching their vehicles. It needs cutting back from the ditch area to also help with drainage but I'm not sure whose responsibility this is. Many thanks (PC)

  • Many thanks for sending a team out to clear some of the vegetation. Perhaps they are planning to return but unfortunately they did not go all along the stretch that really required pruning as you head into the village and there are still some bushes on the edge what will cause even more of a problem when growth starts. Thank you

  • Please could you provide an update on when/if this work is to be carried out. In recent storm trees have fallen into the electricity wire above - risk of breakage. Vehicles are now having to stop in the road to pass safely. Many thanks
