Filter lane turning red with main signal

Reported via Android in the Timings are incorrect category anonymously at 18:27, Friday 12 January 2024

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5435749.

Everytime the A40 westbound lights turn red, so do the filter lane lights for Benhall.

There is absolutely no need for them to turn red unless there is a pedestrian crossing.

This still happens in the middle of the night when they're are absolutely no pedestrians about.

The lights did not no this before the bodged A40 works were undertaken.

There is a seperate set of lights for the bus lane to stop them crossing the Benhall exit - when those lights are green. The filter lane does not need to turn red as well.
