Poor upkeep of road

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:53, Fri 12 January 2024

Sent to Mid Suffolk District Council and Suffolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5432716.

Agmax - fully loaded trucks exiting Agmax and spilling mnaterial ont he road. This in turn is causing a backup of dirt on the verge and is deceasing the size of the road making it very narrow as you pass. very dangerous when a car or truck is coming in the oposite direction. The edge needs to be skimmed back to the actual verge.....

Updates

  • As you can see this is NOT caused by Aggmax, the road and verge issues are caused by the increasing wide loads coming from the A14 due to width restrictions being in place, as a company it is NOT down to us to clean the road due to a third party damaging the verges, but as a local company we do clean the road after others have wrecked the verge at a substantial cost to us
