Tress are too tall, old and decayed and pose a risk to properties, cars and safety of people

Reported via desktop in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 09:54, Fri 5 January 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5398346.

Tress are too tall, old and decayed and pose a risk to properties, cars and safety of people.

Esecially with the high winds recently we've seen many old trees fall and damage caused.

The trees should be pruned to a much lower safe height as a minimum or removed completly.

There is also a communications pole next to the trees which would be brought down should the trees come down leaving everyone without telephone or internet.

  • No, it hasn’t been fixed. Absolutely nothing has been done. Please come on a windy day and see and listen how much movement there is. Trees rub on each other and it’s just a matter of time until another one is down. (At least 3 trees on the other side of the road in the last 2 years wend down. Old trees with week roots can’t hold the weight of the crown) This has to be resolved.
