Severe flooding across the road and footway os 29-39 Hillview road

Reported via desktop in the Flooding of a road or pavement category anonymously at 18:33, Thursday 4 January 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bath and North East Somerset Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5396062.

This has been reported several times over the past 2 weeks and before in the year, please resolve this ongoing issue and clear the drains outside, every time a gully sucker arrives they do nothing then disappear, this is obviously not acceptable and no doubt they claim payment for doing nothing, please resolve this once and for all instead of revisiting each time we have a few days of rainfall, this is not acceptable as a tax payer and needs a permanent investigation once cleared. It cant be just filling with debris and getting blocked each time, there must be an underlying issue.

  • This flood is still here and clearly causing damage to cars that try and cross. Children need to walk to school that way and there is now recycling rubbish floating in it.

  • Although the blocked Storm water drain from outside 33/35 Hillview road, down through rose hill looks to have been finally cleared, the drain section above this which is at the side of number 39 still needs unblocking. The water is overflowing out of the lid and running down the hill into the previously blocked drain outside 33/35, please can the jetter return and clear this blocked drain section and finish clearing the blockages in our local area, many thanks.
