White STOP lines faded

Reported via mobile in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 22:26, Wednesday 3 January 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5390535.

When coming off the A43 to turn left into Lumbertubs Lane the white Stop lines to make traffic wait for the vehicles turning RIGHT off the A43 South into Lumbertubs Lane are faded. Drivers unfamiliar with the area( and even some who do know) think that the left turn off the A43 is a right of way due to the faded white lines and there are more and more incidents of near misses with cars turning right into Lumbertubs Lane who DO have the right of way. The recent bad weather has eroded the markings even more and some thick white lines need to be laid ASAP to prevent the inevitable accidents.
