On Moss Mere, west of the junction with the Bridlepath and east of the junction with Moss End Lane.

Reported via mobile in the Flooding category anonymously at 16:53, Wed 3 January 2024 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5388956.

Road does not appear to have drainage and continually floods in wet weather. Water overflows from the bridlepath drain onto the road (1st photo) resulting in flooding along the road in several places. No footpath and water is often too deep to walk through without wellingtons (2nd photo). Note this location is different to the one at Farriers Cottage which does have drains, but these often block.

Updates

  • Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.

Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.

We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.

    Thank you for your patience.
