Blocking access for bin lorries

Different cars keep parking on double yellow lines and obstructing access for bin lorries or bigger vehicles. This resulted in more than a month of missed bin pickups. As residents there is nothing we can do. We even put the bins on the yellow marked bay and the drivers move the bins and park there. A month of missed bin pickups during the festive period for an entire row of houses. This needs to be fixed

  • Bin was picked up, council decided to move the pickup point to an inconvenient place. I am sure the cars parked on the kerb of the new pickup place won’t be an issue
