Continuous flooding under bridge, blocked drains, potholes

Reported via desktop anonymously at 09:38, Wed 3 January 2024

Sent to Horsham District Council and West Sussex County Council 1 hour, 2 minutes later. FixMyStreet ref: 5384706.

For the last 10 winters there has been perpetual deep flooding under the railway bridge on Stopham Road. This stops pedestrians from getting to and from the village causing all journeys to be made by car through the water. Children have to be driven to the other side causing pollution and damage to cars. Drains on both sides are blocked and the surrounding land is being washed into them by the traffic passing through the flood water, often at unacceptable speeds. The whole area needs looking at as it is blighting the lives of the locals in that area. There are also large/deep multiple potholes hidden in the water.
