The byway on Milvers Lane is impassable due to deep water, mud and huge tractor ruts.

Sent to Dorset County Council and West Dorset District Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 538124.
This byway going from Bennett's Hill Farm north down Milvers Lane is impassable due to deep muddy water, huge tractor ruts and mud. There is no effective form of drainage down at the cow barns, thus all the muck from the cows drains into the bottom of the valley. The farmer has built new barns which now add to the problems. The ruts, created by the tractors make walking or horse riding difficult and those people who wear treking boots instead of wellingtons cannot get through without the water and mud going over their boots when it has rained even a little. In the winter the mud goes over wellingtons and in the summer a walker would still require boots to walk through. Many thanks

Nothing has been done to solve this problem. I took these photos yesterday. I talked to the farmer about the problem and he said the council are not interested in sorting out the mud and slurry. The drain that has supposedly been put in is a complete waste of time and space. The cattle are standing in slurry and the situation only gets worse as each day goes by.

This route always seems to be a problem, last few times I tried it I had to turn back despite wearing boots.
