Greenhurst Lane: Poor road signage approaching double bend

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5380761.

The road signage alerting to sharp bends is very poor in Greenhurst Lane. When travelling Westbound, the sign is actually at the first bend so not enough prior warning. Also obscured by vegetation. When travelling Eastbound, the sign is in advance of the bend but obscured by vegetation. Previously there were warning chevrons on the bends but these were damaged by previous accidents at this location and not replaced. This is the site of several road accidents. It's particularly poor given the repeated flooding on the bend and also because the road has a 40mph speed limit at the eastern end which then turns to National Speed Limit as you are heading towards the bends.
