Nelson Road - 2 x covers have been removed and not replaced, exposed wire

Work was undertaken retarmacing parts of the path down the street. Covers were not replaced on these 2 holes. With all the bad weather the wires that were coiled up below have come out.

I live in the house and we have 2 young children who could quite easily touch/trip over the wire. It is a massive health and safety risk.

Updates

  • I have requested our Out of Hours team to come out and make the area safe/cordon off the area for the mean time.

    For any further work you would need to contact the company that installed the hole/cables as they will have also retarmacked the area and it would be their responsibility to attend any repairs.

    Based on the image shown they are likely cable stores for an internet service provider.
