Very bad road conditions and potholes needs examining

I am writing to express my deep concern about the deteriorating road conditions, particularly the presence of potholes, on Ferrestone Road, Lister Road, Gisburne Road, and Bedale Road. As a resident and a road user within the Wellingborough area, I feel it is my responsibility to bring attention to these issues that have been affecting the safety and well-being of both pedestrians and drivers.
Over the past few months, the quality of the road surface in the aforementioned areas has significantly declined, leading to an increase in the number and size of potholes. These road conditions pose a serious hazard to motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians alike. Not only do these potholes create an uncomfortable driving experience, but they also pose a risk of damage to vehicles and, more importantly, can result in accidents and injuries.
I kindly request that the Wellingborough Borough Council takes prompt action to assess and address the poor road quality on Ferrestone Road, Lister Road, Gisburne Road, and Bedale Road. It is crucial that necessary repairs and maintenance are conducted to ensure the safety of the community and the longevity of the road infrastructure. Furthermore, I would like to highlight that, as a responsible vehicle owner, I have taken note of the potential risks posed by the current road conditions. In the unfortunate event of damage to my vehicle due to the poor state of the roads, I would expect the council to take responsibility for the costs associated with the repair. I believe that it is the council's duty to ensure that residents are not burdened with the financial repercussions of damages caused by inadequate road maintenance. I appreciate your attention to this matter and trust that the Wellingborough Borough Council will prioritize the improvement of road conditions in the mentioned areas. I look forward to a swift and effective resolution to ensure the safety and well-being of all residents and road users.
