Multiple Unsafe Priorities at Driveways

North Hyde Lane near Raleigh Road. Image (1) Illustrates multiple unsafe and inappropriate priorities creating conflicts between bike riders and motorists. Images (2) & (3) illustrate examples where priority is correctly given to "Vulnerable road users" (see Highway code cited below).
Please can these hazardous markings be rectified to enhance safety and to grant appropriate priority. We must encourage "Active Travel" in the interests of health and the environment.

(e) above - See, in section 3, Treatment options to improve safety of pedestrians, bicycle riders and other path users at driveways 3.4.3 Driver compliance ......, DRIVERS MUST:-: • give way to path users when entering driveways • give way to path users when exiting driveways, and • not reverse unless the driver can do so safely.

In case you'd prefer to believe this, see Rule 206 in the Highway Code - "needing to cross a pavement, cycle lane or cycle track; for example, to reach or leave a driveway or private access. Give way to pedestrians on the pavement and cyclists using a cycle lane or cycle track"

Today, sent message to Hounslow Borough Council https://fms.hounslowhighways.org/ contact/ enquiry On Thu 28 December 2023 A FixMyStreet report was submitted, ref: 5362719. "Multiple Unsafe Priorities at Driveways". https://www.fixmystreet.com/ report/ 5362719 You have not responded to this, and we understand the situation is remains dangerous and unsafe. What will you do about it, and when?
