No signage for the public path (Gissing FP 3)

According to the map, the path leaves behind a headland, at this point, to run southwards across an arable field. In the absence of signage, there is absolutely no indication, on the ground, even of the very existence of Gissing FP 3, let alone of its whereabouts, in either direction. Countryside Act 1968 Section 27(4) mandates local highway authorities to erect signage where it is needed to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow the course of the path.
