Blocking cars

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5325842.

There has been a number of occasions cars have double parked, left unattended and blocked parked cars. We need to keep horning until the person comes and moves the car. This is an issue for residents on the street.

  • Large vans double parked right next to bus stop. Bus users have to step out onto middle of road to stop buses. When buses are stopped nothing can pass. This happens frequently but nothing gets done.

  • Still open, via questionnaire, 20:39, Friday 12 January 2024

  • Problem still occurs in Percy Street due to people leaving cars in the middle of the street, double parked and go into the shops along paisley road west. Several times I have been blocked in and went looking from shop to shop to find the person to move their car.
