Overgrown hedge

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5313252.

This hedge is now so overgrown that it is at least halfway across the pathway and long branches hit you in the face, particularly at night when you cannot see them. This has been ongoing for several months and is now proving to be dangerous

  • This hedge has not been touched since I reported it in December, and of course is growing rapidly. If it is not dealt with soon the excuse will that it is nesting time

Due to the nature of the hedgerow we are unable to take to any enforcement action until the end of August, as there may be birds nesting. Information regarding this restriction can be found on www.rspb.org.uk. An inspection will take place early September.
