Several deep and large potholes across the carriageway.

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5308430.

There are several very deep potholes across the road, one being in the middle of the road. They are extremely dangerous and will cause vehicle damage. The exact location is by the green, metal gates when travelling towards Jane Murray Way. These potholes have been here for months and are getting worse and more dangerous.

  • This is an ongoing problem as temporary repairs are carried out using substandard materials. The repairs only last a short while. Money for old rope for the contractors. Presumably they get paid over and over and are laughing all the way to the bank. Once the repair lasted less than a week; in a section that was resurfaced. Cowboy contractors and penny pinching short sighted Council. Stats will say they filled x number of potholes, but they may as well use mud for all the good it does.
