Collapsed road

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 13:00, Mon 11 December 2023

Sent to Leicester City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5306295.

There is a collapsed part of the road near 243 New Parks Boulevard. It is deep and dangerous to motorists and their vehicles. The road is very old and made of concrete slabs, probably from when the estate was built in 1950/60. Could you plan to refurbish the road, please? There is a lot of cracks and deeps, and a pothole that you are repairing every year with bigger amount of tarmac but this excersise is pointless and waste of money as it breaks after a few weeks. It would be worth sending an engineer or surveyor to report back to you with recommendations. We pay a lot of money for council tax and I believe such jobs should be planed to be completed properly by now.
