Flooding

Reported via desktop in the Other Road Issues category anonymously at 01:03, Fri 8 December 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5294601.

When are the highways going to manage this stretch of road and clear the weekly flooding? Across this corner stretch that today included the A337 towards Everton where the left hand ditches are no longer cleared!?! You seriously cannot continue to ignore the amount of water that sits on this bend, it is dangerous as drivers veer onto the other side of the road. CLEAR THE PROBLEM!

  • Again, for the last 48hrs this section of road has been causing traffic congestion as it is flooded. The water almost reached the Everton sign last night! Vehicles heading towards Everton are veering into the middle of the road to avoid the water. This is on a bend and dangerous for all traffic.
