Blocked ditches, blocked drains, dangerous road surface

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5291373.

This whole road is an absolute disgrace! Blocked ditches, drains that don't work, and now the road surface is dangerous and breaking up. There is absolutely no excuse for the landowners not clearing the ditches here. All the land belongs to the Meyrick Estate, hugely wealthy landowners who made a fortune selling land off for building!! The man who lives in Beckley Farmhouse is the retired farm manager for the estate, or go to the Estate Office on the A35.

  • I've been down here this morning. I have been sent a message saying "no action needed" when the road is so bad half of it is closed with barriers and there are traffic lights!! So how can the case be closed???
