I Went along this stretch of road today near Brafield International Stadium - although there has been no rain for some days the road is still flooded on both sides of the road - the drains are obviously blocked. During cold frosty weather these flooded areas become even more dangerous as it ices over and the ice gets carried along the highway on both sides!

It is now 13 working days since I reported this issue and you said it would be investigated within 5 working days, but you have provided NO update. Please can you confirm what is the current situation with regards investigating this issue???????

Road is still flooding everytime it rains - WHAT IS THE LATEST UPDATE ABOUT WHAT ACTION YOU ARE TAKING REGARDING THIS - AS YOU HAVE PROVIDED NO UPDATE AS OF 11th FEBRUARY 2024

Investigation: Ongoing (Reported to a third party) - Thank you for your enquiry. West Northants received approximately 140mm of rain over a short period of time, resulting in severe flash flooding in many areas. The heavy rainfall had the ability to overwhelm the surface water drainage system. If your report is a repeat flooding incident, please could update this enquiry with further information, so that we can investigate. If this is not a repeat incident, we will close the enquiry after 7 days and the highways team will continue to monitor the location
