Crossing turns into a sheet of ice

Reported via mobile in the Pavements/footpaths category by Hayley M at 15:09, Wed 6 December 2023

Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5289159.

Every winter when it frosts over these crossing markers turn into sheets of ice. The photos were taken Monday morning. There was no ice or frost anywhere else but on these. At least two elderly residents have fallen and injured themselves. Children and other adults have also fallen. There is no grip what so ever. They are supposed to alert people with poor eye sight that there is a crossing but anyone who stands on it will end up on the floor. A lot of people have started walking around them (on the road to avoid them). They are a danger to life and limb and need replacing with something safer.
