Another day where nothing has been done about the total carnage that is Nailsbridge temporary traffic lights, Cinderford.

Reported via desktop in the Light sensor is not detecting vehicles category anonymously at 11:54, Tue 5 December 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Gloucestershire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5284089.

A journey from Morse Road to Cinderford Syned Wood road, to collect child, then back to Drybrook school took an hr & a half. Another day arriving late for school. Leaving home at 730am to do a 3 mile each way jouney to arrive by 845am, but was late, arriving at 9am is totally unacceptable. And then having to do a repeat journey at school pickup, is 3hrs a day for what amounts to 12 miles. Then to find no work happening at 855am. If O'Connells are waiting for tarmac delivery, why on earth weren't the temp lights turned off until they returned or instead of work force disappearing, why wasnt the traffic controlled manually. There is no excuse for this appalling plan, or rather no plan. Permanent lights from Cinderford on Green when temporary lights on red caused the short distance between the two sets of lights to be completely blocked. The permanent lights went from green to red & red to green five times before I could move due to traffic from Coleford blocking route. This caused stationary traffic for over 35mins then only moving 5/10yard. Disgraceful.
