Flooding every time it rains

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 09:38, Mon 4 December 2023

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5278754.

This is not an occasional problem. This is happening every time it rains. It is continuing down the length of Friston and when you step out into the road as the footpath is entirely flooded at points you cannot get back over onto the footpath as the flooding is spanning the whole length. This is a main walkway to the local primary school and there is only one footpath. It is dangerous for parents and children.

I have reported it year after year and every time it's getting cleared off but not actually being dealt with.

There is a proposed development at Deerswood court but this cannot even get sorted?
