Tree branches blocking view of speeding sign

Sent to Oxfordshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5276765.

The vehicle activated speed sign that lights up in Kingston Road, just north of Southmoor Place is obscured by overhanging tree branches from the garden it is situated in front of.

  • Landowners and occupiers are required to trim any hedge on their property that is next to the public highway where the growth is preventing the passage, or affecting the safety, of the highway user. In this instance the highway does appear to be obstructed  from full use. The land/property owner will be contacted and if action is not untaken we will follow up accordingly.
