Multiple potholes in this location caused by heavy lorries driving over badly done prior patching
Reported via mobile in the Pothole category anonymously at 15:01, Sat 2 December 2023
Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5275309.
One pothole is quite deep with a sharp, hard back edge. The road is used by HGVs and they wear away the road surface at that location constantly - repeated temporary patching makes no difference. Boggy ground makes it worse. Needs a proper solution with drainage and appropriate remedial work, not temporary patching.

Some potholes have been repaired with tarmac plugs. With the number of lorries they are already deteriorating and new ones appearing. As usual half job was done and the council continues to throw good money after bad.
