Toucan Close NW10 j/w Lakeside Drive NW10

Reported via mobile in the Bollard damaged / missing (not lit) category anonymously at 17:40, Fri 1 December 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Brent Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5273540.

Both Bollards have been knocked down and damaged on Lakeside Drive entrance to Toucan Close NW10 7RS walkway. I saw a black van believed to a Ford transit drive passed the barriers Toucan Close on to the pathway leading to Lakeside drive, then went through the barriers to Lakeside drive damaging the barriers. On my Camera I now know it be to a black Citroen van.(no reg). This is dangerous as I as a resident live on Toucan Close NW10 and my flat is located outside this walkway making the property vulnerable as now other cars and motor bikes will come through this walkway which is for residents. There has already been incidents of danger where pedestrians have been hit by motorists who use this for a short cut and come down at speed. No due to the damage to the bollards, vehicles are highly likely to come down from Toucan close through to lakeside drive or cards from lake side drive will come through to Toucan close. This could lead to a collision with pedestrians therefore this needs attention. This walkway was previously blocked off which would be better in the long run moving forward. Thank you
