Destruction of grass verge and large potholes

Recently our road / village had some work carried out on telegraph poles and cables. This work utilised the use of a truck mounted telescopic boom arm to elevate the workmen to the top of the telegraph poles. Although I am sure the damage caused was not intentional and it could be that the truck had to manoeuvre over the verges in order to gain a position for the work to be carried out. Serve damage has been caused to the grass verges with the added feature of exposing potholes.
