Road starting to break up - Dangerous for cycles

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5269383.

The problem reported over two weeks ago has deteriorated to the extent that it is dangerous to try and ride a bicyle through the damaged area and it is very difficult for a car to pass safely

  • The road is almost impassable now. The hole is bigger and deeper and is impossible to pass without touching it and making it worse.

  • "work has been done" but the quality of the repair is really really disappointing. A bit of tarmac dtuffed in the hole with visually NO preparation is not a repair. The road is still no passable on a bicycle and very rigged and bumpy in a car a low speed and since the road is used as a school cut through by 4 x 4s the repair will not last long.
