Extremely dangerous road that could be reduced of this by gritting this lane which is used as a main route for 2 primary schools never mind the additional users. This morning alone of what is known of 3 cars were left in the ditch even going at low speeds due to the ice now if this road was gritted there would have been less ice for sure. A police car earlier in the week was also in the same position. Something needs to be addressed here to prevent fatal accidents and also the money saved in not gritting must been doubled on resources out of public funding - police, air ambulance, recovery etc which all has a knock on effect to the budgets for the ICB.
