Dangerous new parking

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction category anonymously at 12:38, Tue 28 November 2023

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5260990.

About three months ago people started on Windmill Hill at the junction of three roads and near a busy corner shop. I've never seen this before in 26 years. The parked cars cause problems daily for locals and for the thousands that drive through this area morning and evening.

  • We need double yellows the right side of this road. This is construction workers working Bedminster!

  • This has been getting worse and is causing a major obstruction at the junction.

  • Fire engines severely delayed in their access due to people parking (the builders working down the road) opposite the junction on very narrow roads.

  • Leaving for work this morning there are now cars parking on the right hand side of windmill hill going down or left if you are going up directly in front of the junctions as per the pictures previously submitted. They are barely leaving enough room for normal vehicles to get past let alone emergency vehicles. Double yellow lines are required on this side of the road.
