Bollards completely destroyed

At approximately 8.20 this morning a works van drove straight over the chicane destroying the bollards The Parish Council has reported this to TVP together with dashcam coverage of the incident This means the chicane will be unlit and poses a danger to motorists, cyclists etc

  • For information , The westerly bollard was damaged shortly after the island was installed and replace after some time with a temporary sign which was in place for several months. The sign was the damaged and I presumed cleared away. This left no bolard for several months. Now the other blooard has bee demolished. The driver may have some cause to notify their insurance company of the defective sign over such a long period
