Extremely overgrown bushes.
Reported via mobile in the Trees/Hedges Overhanging Roads Or Footpaths category anonymously at 00:03, Mon 27 November 2023
Sent to Hull City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5255055.
This matter was reported in October and a reference number ENV551759012 was issued to me on 3rd October and I was told I would be informed of the inspection report within 5 working days. It is now considerably longer than the time frame stated. The problem is now a lot worse as can be seen by the photographs. I look forward to your prompt reply.

Now even worse, Council were looking into the matter in October, when I enquired in November they were still looking into it. My friend had a near miss in the dark over the weekend. (see picture) just brushing the side of his face.

The bushes have now had a cursory 'trim' which is hardly noticeable. Some of the long hanging bramble branches have been cut off, but the extreme height, depth and obstruction to the street sign remain and are only going to get worse now the bushes are starting to grow again after the winter. At the opposite side of the premises the bushes are trimmed flush to the fence line.

Still no reply from Council. Cannot do anything for the time being as it is nesting season and illegal to cut bushes/trees.
