Broken away Kerb Stones

Reported via desktop in the Pavements/Cycleway category anonymously at 15:07, Fri 24 November 2023

Sent to Hampshire County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5249931.

The Kerbstones in Barnes Way have been breaking up for several months now. Although a cul de sac the road is heavily used by school traffic, who park on the pavements and turnaround, bumping up the kerbs!! The 6 bungalows are occupied by mainly elderly residents, and the pavement is becoming hazardous in many places.

  • We still have cones but as yet no action.?? The parents who drop off for the school are now moving the cones onto the pavements so they can park!! BUT they dont put them back and they become a trip hazard for the elderly people who live in the cul-de-sac. Please Hampshire Council, do the repairs or remove the cones.

  • We are still waiting for the repairs to happen, despite the cones being here for more than several weeks now.
