Several large deep potholes in southbound carriageway

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 16:08, Thu 23 November 2023

Sent to West Sussex County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5246548.

There are now several large potholes in the southbound carriageway of Kings Way near the bus stop and opposite the Flats which back on to the road Kingsway e.g flat 69 The warren is one of the flats opposite to help with the location. This carriageway has had several pothole repairs in this area this year, correction several bodged poor quality pothole repairs that a 4 year old could have done better with plasticine! The road and potholes are now so bad now it surely warrants a whole area of approx 12 feet by 8 feet being scrapped back and relaid properly. It is just wasting public money and highway funds continually patching up with these bodged repairs. Please sort out once and for all. KIngs Way is a busy road with buses and lorries and the area is deteriorating fast. Southbound motorists to avoid the potholes are now swerving around these potholes with their cars, meaning they go in the Northbound carriageway which is making driving in the oncoming direction extremely dangerous.
