The light is permanently on

Sent to Bristol City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5240103.

And very bright at night, shining a lot of light into my bedroom at night, also wasting elec being permanently on. However i am glad the council has installed LEDs as this is better for the environment.

  • Thank you for raising this concern. We are aware of this situation, and this is due to the LED citywide rollout programme.

    We have added this light to the list that requires further attention. There is a communication issue between the lighting central monitoring system (CMS) and the light, and the contractors are working hard to rectify this which is being handled remotely so that the light is not on all day.
