Falling leaves and sun shade blockage

Reported via mobile in the Park / Open space category anonymously at 01:02, Tue 21 November 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to London Borough of Bexley less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5235189.

Hi the tree line as highlighted in the picture attached is causing such a nuisance with leaf fall at this time of year, ourselves and many neighbours are complaining about the amount of leaves that have fallen. I am currently filling my brown bin with just leaves collected from my front and rear garden and not any of my actual cuttings from maintenance of my own garden.

There are many seedlings falling too and I do not wish for these to take root within my property and nor do any other neighbours I’ve spoken too. Hopefully pruning will reduce this worry.

In the summer months we are having issues with sun blockage from these rather large trees. I’m not asking for them to be cut down but pruned back or reduced in height. Again this is also felt across many of the neighbours I’ve spoken too.

Kind regards
