Dangerous junction where new estate has been built on Haughton Road, Shifnal - postcode TF11 8GH is sample reference address and map also attached. I am a driving instructor who regularly uses Haughton Road to collect clients, and the junction of Haughton Road and Hodgson Road is incredibly dangerous and difficult to navigate.

When pulling out onto Haughton Road there have been several near misses I have witnessed including those involving pedestrians on the foot way.

The visibility is terrible, with hedging present close to the junction so you have to pull right out into the road to be able to get a clear view of the oncoming traffic. Speed is also an issue, but the whole junction is poorly designed and not fit for purpose - an accident waiting to happen.

This needs dealing with before we have a fatality… happy to discuss at any point and demonstrate the difficulties experienced. Ella Atkinson (Ella’s Driving School, Telford).
