Dangerous broken up road surface and potholes for 100 m along Sheen Road in this area.

Reported via desktop in the Potholes category anonymously at 22:03, Sun 19 November 2023

Sent to Richmond upon Thames Borough Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5230519.

This road surface has been derelict for at least a year. It is dangerous for bicycles and motorcycles and, even as a bus passenger, the bus and its passengers are almost shaken to pieces travelling along this road. This particular stretch marked on the map is particularly bad,

Updates

  • I drove over this area on 16 Dec 2023 and it has STILL not been repaired. Absolutely appalling lack of service from Richmond Council.

And this is not the only area that has practically derelict roads in Richmond. Dangerous for cyclists which is why they ride on the footways.

It's hardly the 'Best borough in London' with roads in this condition.

  • This is STILL NOT FIXED ! I drove over this road only yesterday and it is absolutely appalling. Total negligence by Richmond Council. Cracks, potholes, furrows, humps.

In fact, the whole of Sheen Road A305 from Richmond to Sheen is in a disgusting condition some of which is actually dangerous to cyclists which is why they ride on the footways.

Road surface terrible from junction of Church Rd B322 & Sheen Rd A305, along Sheen Rd A305, then Upper Richmond Rd A205, to Sheen Lan B351.

  • Some of this has been fixed, but there are still so many potholes and cracks along this road that is hard to tell what has been fixed and what hasn't.
