Tree needs removing

Reported via mobile in the Tree Requires Pruning category anonymously at 21:52, Sun 19 November 2023 using FixMyStreet Pro

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5230505.

Tree needs removing. Far too big for road. Causing considerable loss of light to front of house. The height of tree far exceeds height of my house causing an excessive amount of moss on the front and back roof of my house causing many issues with the gutters being clogged up. The tree roots causing pavement in front of house to almost reach height of wall, causing a steep, uneven slope making it a safety hazard for pedestrians. Please remove this tree.

  • Please don't cut this tree down - it's wonderful and a real asset to the street. A prune would help with the issues reported without anything as drastic as removing this wonderful mature tree,

  • Please see photo above. No one has been to prune this tree. The last time it was pruned was Sept 2018 after I drew your attention to the size of tree. If there is a 3 year contract in place why wasn't it pruned in 2021? Because you have neglected to control the size of this tree over many years it has become far too big! It causes light issues, blocked drains/gutters and the pavement is a hazad for pedestrians! I do feel I have a strong case for the removal of this tree. I await your comments on this long outstanding issue.
