Sent to Cheshire East Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5226853.
There has been severe flooding in this area since last year, every time it rains. This matter has already been reported several times with no resolution. When the water eventually subsides, which can take a couple of days, there is considerable damage to the road surface & loose tarmac is being left behind. The flooding is causing an issue for pedestrians & wheelchair users as the pavement cannot be used. There is a real concern that this section of the road could collapse & residents are unwilling to use it even when dry.

Thank you for contacting Cheshire East Highways. We have logged your enquiry and passed it to a member of our team.
Our teams are working hard to manage and respond to reports from members of the public.
We are experiencing a high volume of enquiries and we will be prioritising those issues that present most risk to the travelling public. While we normally aim to provide you with a response within 20 working days, response times for all other reported issues may take longer than usual.
Thank you for your patience.
