No signpost, at path junction (Cantley FPs 20 and 22)

Reported via desktop in the Footpaths/ Rights of way (usually not tarmac) category anonymously at 20:42, Fri 17 November 2023

Sent to Norfolk County Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5225592.

There is absolutely nothing on the ground to show anyone where Cantley FP 20 leaves/joins FP 22. Section 27(4) of the Countryside Act 1969 places a duty on highway authorities to erect signposts, where needed, to assist persons unfamiliar with the locality to follow the route of the path. DEFRA Rights of Way Circular 1/09, para 2.11: "Authorities should ensure that members of the public are provided with sufficient information, by means of appropriate signs or notices, particularly at path junctions, to enable them to use the local rights of way network."
