Temporary red sign still in place

There is a red temporary road sign telling people the height of the railway bridges still in place and has been so for many many months if not more than 2 years. I contacted our MP about this who said it was needed for a while, but i think the time has come to remove this ugly sign which I can see from sitting at my dining room table!! There are a few of these signs on the local roads. Thank you.
