Tree surrounding street light L8NHV

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5219135.

Tree will cause an issue with the lantern as branches will keep hitting it, over time will damage lantern and node. Larger branches around column will block all the light from rhe lantern. The only cracking in the footway is about a meter from the column where Tree roots are pushing up under the tarmac. see attached photos. Please can you arrange for the tree to be trimmed and look into the issue with the tarmac as well

  • Investigation: Completed (Reported to another department within NNC), Defect Repair: Not Started - Thank you for your enquiry. A qualified Highways Inspector has assessed the location and we can confirm that the vegetation is the responsibility of the landowner. In accordance with the NNC Network Management Plan, we will contact the landowner and request they cut back their vegetation within 14 days of receipt of our correspondence. We will reinspect the vegetation to ensure they have complied.
