Flooded road gulley at top of York Road junction with High Stree

Reported via mobile in the Roads/highways category anonymously at 18:31, Wed 15 November 2023

Sent to Milton Keynes Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5216748.

This rainwater gulley is always flooded after rainfall. It's difficult to cross the road without going through the water and cars constantly splash through it. This has been reported by myself in the past. The level in the gulley might be at fault.

Updates

  • This gulley continues to be flooded particularly with recent heavy rain. Pedestrians have to jump over it (dangerous) or find a space further up the street which will not be suitable for access.

  • This has not been fixed. Everytime you need to cross York Road you have to avoid the deep puddle which is almost permanently there in winter time.

  • Please see photos this week of flooded gulley that should easily be repaired.
