Road resurfaced and gulley removed causing flooding into property

Sent to Bromley Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5215523.

Few months ago the road was resurfaced and gulley removed and due to this now leaves and water are heavily flooding as a result, has not be a problem prior to this, could this be looked into please

  • Thank you for your enquiry. We apologise for the lack of update regarding this matter We can confirm there was never a gully at this location prior to the road being resurfaced. We will carry out checks to the levels of the footway and carriageway at this location in the coming weeks to ascertain the cause and will provide a update shortly.

  • A defect on the Surface Water drainage assets at this location has been verified and remedial works are now on our works schedule.
