Persistent flytipping in Mannering Court

Reported via desktop in the Flytipping category anonymously at 11:08, Tue 14 November 2023

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5209646.

There is persistent flytipping around the recycling bins for Mannering Court and Ellangowan Road. Cars drive up and dump rubbish out of their boot here.

This is also because the recycling bins regularly overflow because there is not enough recycling capacity for the flats in Mannering Court and on Ellangowan Road which back on to Mannering Court. One paper bin and one glass bin is not enough for the fifty-odd flats here.

Updates

  • As I write, there is a huge pile of rubbish surrounding these recycling bins. There was a fridge dropped off the other day which the council collected but flytipping remains a persistent problem here.
