Street Bin in Ruthven St G12 council has removed

Reported via desktop in the Rubbish (refuse and recycling) category anonymously at 15:03, Mon 13 November 2023

Sent to Glasgow City Council less than a minute later. FixMyStreet ref: 5206190.

The street bin at top of Ruthven Lane G12 where it meets Saltoun Street has been removed by Glasgow City Council -- and Byres Rd with all its fast food shops is only yards away. Please replace this bin for the general public to use immediately. Old Google street view pic is attached showing the bin that was in situ. Job ref 8094114 closed by Glasgow City Council but bin has not been replaced. Unacceptable.

  • Will this bin ever return? Or is Glasgow Council at its happiest when so many citizens of Glasgow drop their litter to the ground, which (along with all the silt) runs into the drains and makes sure the drains stay blocked, and our streets stay flooded and folk living here, who don't drop litter, gets supremely depressed about where they live.
